Is Email Marketing Dead?聽This is a question that has been circulating a lot. Many people will tell you that it is but as an email marketing specialist and a certified MailerLite expert I can tell you that email marketing is alive and well!

I work with many clients to help them build and execute their email marketing strategy and they always have favorable results. Now don’t get me wrong, to ensure that email marketing performs optimally, you have to put in the work. You must continuously build your email list, segment your list and personalize your emails to truly build a community and not just an audience.

What’s the difference?

An email audience is just your subscribers but you email community is a place where know, like and trust flourishes. It’s a space filled with people who truly want to hear from you because they know that you are an expert in your field and you can provide a solution to their problem. It’s also a safe space where engaging conversations can take place as email marketing should not be a one way street.

>I heard someone describe this best when they said “imagine if you were on a date and the person only talked about themselves, would you come back for a second date?” I surely wouldn’t but I definitely want my community to feel comfortable to respond to my emails, to ask engaging questions and tell me what they want to know about and how I can continue to provide value to them.
